Program Professional Framework
Essential Skills for Internal Auditors
Program Overview
Technical knowledge of the Standards is only half of an internal auditor's toolkit; the other half is the practical skill to interview, analyse, challenge and persuade. «Essential Skills for Internal Auditors» builds those capabilities: professional scepticism, effective audit interviewing, process walkthroughs and flowcharting, risk and control matrices, sampling and data analytics, root-cause analysis, writing clear findings and managing difficult conversations with auditees. Exercises reflect the expectations of the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and the governance environment of GCC public and private sector entities.

Assessment
Short diagnostic at the start, practical tasks linked to each learning outcome, and evaluation of the applied project against published criteria.
