Program Professional Framework
Certificate in Applied Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Program Overview
Innovation creates value only when ideas are tested, refined and taken to market. This course follows the full journey from opportunity to venture: spotting problems worth solving, applying design thinking to understand users, generating and screening ideas, and testing assumptions with Lean Startup methods and minimum viable products. Participants map business models with the Business Model Canvas, size markets, build simple financial projections and prepare a pitch for investors or internal sponsors. Corporate innovation and intrapreneurship receive equal attention, alongside the Gulf ecosystem of incubators, accelerators and SME support bodies such as Monsha'at in Saudi Arabia and Hub71 in Abu Dhabi.
